The workshop has been designed to provide the theoretical background as well as a hands-on training to students and researchers into the intricacies of handling animal cells under in vitro culture. Cancer research, drug discovery and screening, virology, genetic engineering are some areas that depend on cell culture procedures. Considering this relevance and the lack of exposure to culture techniques in researchers who need them for their research we have organized a foundation level hands-on training for all students and academics who wish to broaden their research skill-set.
