Linear algebra is the study of vectors and linear functions. It is considered a basic concept in the modern presentation of geometry. It is mostly used in Physics and Engineering as it helps to define the basic objects such as planes, lines, and rotations of the object. Overall, linear algebra is a basic and compulsory subject for BSc, MSc, and PhD students. The training program will consist of lectures from renowned experts nationwide followed by tutorial sessions. We also emphasize on the fact that a variety of topics ranging from vector spaces, systems of linear equations, inner product spaces, and such topics based on JAM, GATE, and UGC-CSIR NET exams will be covered in this program.

The importance of Engineering applications in the field of health care and medicine, cannot be overstated – against the backdrop of the unprecedented health crisis that this world is emerging from. The recent pandemic has clearly identified the need for skilled manpower and solutions, particularly in screening, diagnostics, telemedicine and medical instrumentation. Biomedical (and ultimately Bioengineering) is a bridge between multi-disciplinary engineering and medicine with the acute demand for qualified Bioengineers on the rise (and not expected to wane in the near future). This Conclave is aimed to promote information about this multi-disciplinary area at the interface of medicine and engineering as much as possible.

The Kumbh Mela (the festival of the sacred pitcher) is the largest public gathering and collective act of faith, anywhere in the world. The Mela draws tens of millions of pilgrims over the course of approximately 48 days to bathe at the sacred confluence of the Ganga, the Yamuna, and the mystical Sarasvati. Primarily, this congregation includes Ascetics, Saints, Sadhus, Sadhvis, Kalpvasis, and Pilgrims from all walks of life. This hackathon is organized by IIITA in collaboration with the Mela Pradhikaran Prayagraj, UP government. It is aimed to provide a platform for developing effective solutions of various issues associated with the Mahakumbh Mela 2025 at Prayagraj which can be adopted by the Mela administration.
